As someone who mostly just consumes and wouldn’t exactly call myself “involved” in the music scene at this point in my life, I strangely relate. The act of finding new music, blindly buying records to check out new stuff, and attend shows of any type - has just started to feel like so much effort. I find it hard to look forward to any of it. I never expected myself to feel this worn out by something like music by the age of 27, but it just doesn’t seem be the exciting/passionate thing it once was for me.
